At our Annual Meeting on November 5, 2022, Competent Public Advocates Foundation elected E. Lynette Stone President, Letisa Smith Secretary and Gianna Schneider Treasurer.

E. Lynette Stone, was elected the organization's President. Letisa Smith was elected the organization's Secretary. Gianna Schneider was elected Treasurer. The new Officers discussed plans for 2023 during the meeting following the election.

We will host The Children's Business Fair again at Dallas' Farmer's Market.
Competent Public Advocates hosted the Children's Business Fair in June 2022. The event was a huge success; 13 child business owners aged 6-14 presented their goods for sale at the fair. We were impressed by the children's professionalism. The children were also well-prepared.
Competent Public Advocates will again host a Children's Business Fair on June 3, 2023.

Introducing free simple legal solutions in 2023.
In 2023, Competent Public Advocates will launch its Simple Legal Solutions effort. The campaign will kick off with a guide to states offering free forms to address important legal needs such as will writing.
